Being down to earth makes her stand out in any crowd. Her quest for learning is almost unparalleled as she regularly upgrades her skill set and wants to add to her knowledge base. In her free time, she likes dancing and listening to stories.

Deepa Lonkar, AVP - Private Client Group

Deepa is a bundle of energy and enthusiasm. She is very inquisitive, and her curious mind never fails to ask questions. She does not stop by just asking questions, but she goes deep to find solutions to the problems. She is proactive, result-oriented, and blessed with impeccable communication skills. She joined Vete Associates in 2011 after gaining a bounty of industry experience. Her invaluable industry experience gives her a competitive edge. At present, she manages AUM worth over 100 crores. Her clients are pleased with her, and they consider her indispensable. She is known for striking a perfect work-life balance. Her family is her biggest cheerleaders.

Raj Jain - CFO

Raj is a young Chartered Accountant, who joined Vete Associates in 2021. He is known for keeping things simple and believes that dedication and commitment are the essential ingredients in the success recipe. The same is reflected in his style of work. He desires to deliver exceptional service in accountancy and investment advisory. This young and enthusiastic CA is a movie buff, cricket lover and an avid traveler.

Shashank Yeram, Head – Taxation

Shashank is a taxation expert at Vete Associates who joined the company in 2014. His style of work is commendable and his focus and honesty towards his work bring in an error-free result. He is very dedicated and has an innate ability to complete the tasks at hand before the deadlines. His clients appreciate his empathetic and humble attitude. He is a die-hard cricket fan and loves going on bike rides and treks. He is fond of exploring new beaches and mountains.

Suparna Baraskar, Head- Customer Support Operations

Suparna comes from the land of hills, Matheran. She has a postgraduate degree in HR from the Welingkar Institute in Mumbai. Having good experience in HR and operations, since 2016, she has been managing the backend team at Vete Associates. Her expertise lies in claim settlements, and she has done a commendable job for our staff. She is a great support system not only to the company but also to the clients. Reading historical books with light music and a cup of tea is her ideal way of relaxation. She desires to take her parents on a foreign trip. In the future, she would like to give back to society by starting a career guidance camp for the children studying in Matheran.

Makarand Satam, Associate Partner

Makarand is a childhood friend of Nitin Vete. He started his career as an IT professional at Raymond Ltd. He joined the team in 2016. Before joining Vete Associates, he worked as Principal Technical Architect at Tech Mahindra Ltd. During his interactions with Nitin Vete, he realised his true calling of becoming an advisor. He currently manages an asset kitty of 17 crores.
A constant learner, Makarand likes to keep himself abreast with the latest developments shaping financial markets to add value to his clients’ wealth. He enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise with his clients to help them make smart investment choices. Outside finance, his interests lie in travelling & sports. A cricket buff, he never misses India’s matches. Being an avid follower of the 5-day test match format, has taught him that patience is essential to reap rewards in investing.
